The final delivery included a website controlled by a powerful Content Management System (CMS) and a web service allowing third-parties to access specific lists of videos.
The website provides the ability for users to upload any kind of video along with a few simple details. These videos are converted to a common format that can be played by the majority of users on the web in a custom Flash player interface. The system also grabs thumbnails and the movie duration once again reducing the amount of work required by the user.
The CMS allows administrators to manage uploaded videos, monitor comments submitted by users and view statistics on user interaction with the site.
