CafeScreen Digital signage network.

CafeScreen is an out-of-home digital signage network that delivers compelling content and advertising to cafe patrons via wall mounted digital screens.

They also offer free wireless Internet access while providing advertisers with a new and exciting technology enabled solution for reaching audiences. It is currently installed in over 100 cafes in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.

C2 was engaged to design and build the Flash interface for the digital screen display and to consult on the underlying data infrastructure. The interface consists of numerous modules which are loaded in succession to display varying information to the café patrons. There were several important factors to consider while building the interface including the accommodation of dynamic data, the distance from which the screen would be viewed and the requirement to keep the patrons interested in the display.

Ultimately we created an engaging TV-like experience for the end-user using a combination of simple animations and vibrant colours. Visit the CafeScreen website to see a demo or find a CafeScreen enabled location near you!
